FINCA Nigeria mourns together with other FINCA subsidiaries, the death of Rupert Scofield co-founder of FINCA. We express our respect and gratitude to him for changing the world through his visionary leadership and commitment to poverty alleviation.

Rupert touched lives and inspired many through his passion to serve low-income clients. The FINCA Nigeria team had a memorable moment with him during his official visit in February 2016, where he opened the second FINCA Nigeria branch at Relief Market, Owerri.

He impacted and transformed Imo State, Nigeria through the number of lives that benefited from his great vision. FINCA Nigeria has grown with over 38,000 clients, has mobilized over N700 million in voluntary savings and clients has accessed over N2.5 billion in loans.
