Maureen Nwankwo acts as the Head of Human Resources for FINCA Microfinance Bank Limited. Maureen is a results-oriented Human Resources professional and Strategic Business Partner with experience in Change Management, Recruitment & Employment Management, Talent & Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits, Reward Management, Succession Planning, Expatriate Programs, Staff engagement & welfare and Performance Evaluation Management.

Prior to joining FINCA, she worked with MTN Nigeria as an online Customer Representative with focus on complaint resolution and capacity development and Diamond Bank (now Access Bank PLC) in banking operations. While in FINCA Maureen grew from Human Resources Officer to Team Lead, Human Resources operations before assuming the role of Acting Head of Human Resources.

Maureen holds a B.Tech. degree in Project Management from Federal University of Technology Owerri and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM)
